It took me two years of playing the game to realize the sound that coresponds with every instance of collecting coins or unaliving a monster or buying an upgrade was paired with a chime that only happens ON BEAT with the background music. Absolutely amazing tasteful choice ontop of the unique growth system that takes way less time than you remember when you visit the game again after dropping it for a while. Feeling powerful happens fast and it never stops stacking.
